Hundreds of anti-covid mandate protesters are camping peacefully outside New Zealand’s Parliament. However, the ‘honourable’ MP and speaker of the house Trevor Mallard ordered that the lawn sprinklers be turned on to drive the protesters away.

It was a filthy, underhanded, dangerous and childish act of bullying buffoonery. It forced protesters to get creative to divert the water away from their tents. Mallards’ action speak to Jacinda Ardern’s bullying and uncaring government, and plenty of people have left interesting comments on Mallards’ Facebook page.
